Stop empty talk, Kenyans want actions: Alfred Mutua tells Uhuru

Moments after his energetic state of the nation address where President Uhuru promised not to relent on the fight against corruption, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has urged the president to be a man of actions.

“All the great plans that President Uhuru has for Kenya, will be undermined if the spirit of goodwill by Kenyans is broken. Unless someone is arrested and charged within the next two days, all he has said in his State of the Nation speech will lose it’s value,” Alfred Mutua said.

President Uhuru Kenyatta noted in his speech that it will be unfair to the Kenyan people if as president, he fails to take down corrupt officials who are increasingly stealing the sweat of Kenyans.

The president however pointed out that he will not sack his Cabinet Secretaries regardless of the pressure from a section of citizens.
