Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has taken a swipe at Deputy Governor William Ruto saying he can defeat the Deputy President without Raila’s hand.
Governor Joho was speaking in Wajir where he had accompanied Hon. Raila Odinga to a women fundraiser organized by area women rep Hon. Fatuma Gedi.
Joho declared that Ruto would be the least of his concerns if he were to vie for the top seat.
“I’m surprised of people talking about Ruto. I can floor Ruto myself, without help,” he said.
Leaders from the Rift Valley have already warned Ruto that he is his own enemy moving into 2022 following his undelivered promises and lies to the people he wants to lead.
Governor Joho pointed out that a Ruto Presidency will be the greatest undoing for this county especially looking at his hand in corruption scandals and theft of public funds.
Joho’s sentiments follow claims that the Raila-Uhuru handshake holds a hidden agenda meant to ensue that Ruto does not become Kenya’s President
