Eyeing the presidency? What Kivutha Kibwana said after winning ‘Best Governor’

Makueni Governor Hon. Kivutha Kibwana has distanced himself from political noise makers in the country following the team-work spirited remarks he made after being awarded the Best Governor by the Auditor General.

Hon. Kibwana tweeted his message of gratitude to the people of Makueni for a job well done.

The Governor specifically appreciated the Makueni county finance CEC, the finance team and the entire county executive and assembly.

“I have learned with lots of gratitude that Makueni & Nyandarua earned an UNQUALIFIED/CLEAN AUDIT from Auditor General in FY 2017/18. I specially appreciate MARY KIMANZI, Makueni county Finance CEC and her entire finance team together with the entire county executive &Assembly” tweeted the governor.

The governor also sent his gratitudes to the county speaker pointing out that the county is laying the foundation for the county.

“Thank you Speaker Douglas Mbilu for breathing behind our backs.We are laying the foundation for devolution in our county. Kudos to the people of Makueni” he added.

Following his humility and unselfish nature celebrating the win with the people, Kenyans have sent love to the Governor who has expressed his desire to run for presidency.

The former Kiambu county Governor Hon. William Kabogo tweeted “Well done prof. Keep it up. Team work is all one needs and you have it.”

@mmimmie also tweeted saying “back in 2016,2017,my work place did a tender with makueni county(no single corruption took place) ..I give you guys much credit each day. ..Wish all counties can follow your steps.”

@Bosqojb tweeted that Makueni county is doing better than all other counties combined.
