City bank frisked over 17 Billion fake currency

Barclays Bank’s Queensway branch which is located along Mama Ngina Street was today sent into a stand still as flying squad and the directorate of criminal investigations stormed in sending all operations to a stand still.

The operation that took place slightly after 1pm, today, is believed to be steered towards tracking down a syndicate dealing fake Ksh 17 billion.

The fake currency is said to be in US dollars.

Musa Yego, the flying quad boss confirmed the operation indicating that so far, three Kenyan suspects and a foreigner have been arrested in respect to the same.
